Did Kim Kardashian use Vela shape? What is Vela shape?

Well with ‘The Sun’ highlighting the Vela shape as the secret to Kim Kardashian’s buttocks I think now is a good time to explain exactly what a Vela shape treatment is and what it can achieve.

Vela shape is a body contouring technology that can break down surface cellulite and tighten the skin, whilst at the same time can cause a deeper fat redistribution allowing the fat to be “modeled” into a more pleasant shape.  In expert hands it can be used to firm and tighten the buttocks giving a lifted appearance, the so called “butt-lift”

It’s a non-invasive technology, which means there are no needles, all of the treatment is performed using a hand piece that is applied to the skin.  The device heats up the skin using infra red and radio-frequency energies, whilst at the same time a vacuum is applied that molds and massages the upper layers of skin and fat to help break down the cellulite and mobilize deeper fat.   

Vela shape is not just for the buttocks though!  It is also used widely to tighten the skin on the abdomen and flanks, as well as the upper thighs, back and arms.  Many people find that as well as getting a more toned and tighter skin, they also get a reduction in circumference too, often enough to drop a jean size after a couple of treatments.

Ultrashape uses focused ultrasound energy that harmlessly passes through the skin and causes the fat cells underneath to rupture and release their contents (triglycerides). The method is selective, meaning that only fat cells are damaged, leaving blood vessels and nerves intact. This means there is little or no pain and bruising. The contents of the fat cells are removed from the area by your bodies own lymphatic system and processed in the liver and eliminated from the body.
